How To Manifest

I Am a Powerful Manifestor (and So Are You)

I truly believe this: we are powerful creators with unlimited potential to shape our reality.

Most of us have read self-help books, watched videos, or tried to manifest something—more money, love, or a dream job—only to feel frustrated when nothing seemed to change. At the same time, we are surrounded by endless information: different methods, different rules, and often contradictory advice. It’s no wonder the process can feel confusing and overwhelming.

What I’ve noticed, both personally and professionally, is that manifestation often doesn’t fail because people are doing it wrong. It fails because a few essential foundations are missing.

Awareness of Thoughts and Language

One of the biggest obstacles to manifestation is unconscious negative thinking and language. Our words and thoughts are constantly shaping our inner dialogue, and if that dialogue is rooted in doubt, fear, or limitation, it sends mixed signals to the subconscious.

For manifestation to work, it’s essential to become aware of negative thoughts or self-talk and consciously redirect them. This doesn’t mean forcing positivity—it means choosing language that supports growth, safety, and possibility.

Nervous System Regulation

Another major reason people struggle to manifest is nervous system dysregulation.

Many people are trying to create abundance while their bodies are still operating in survival mode. When the nervous system doesn’t feel safe, the subconscious resists expansion—even if the conscious mind wants change.

Regulating the nervous system creates the internal safety needed to receive.

Simple grounding tools I use include:

  • Slow, intentional breathing

  • Gentle stretching

  • Placing a hand on the chest and exhaling deeply

A regulated body sends a clear message to the subconscious: it is safe to expand. Manifestation flows when safety replaces survival.

As a counsellor and researcher, I’ve spent years studying manifestation tools, mindset work, and subconscious processes. Through both research and lived experience, I’ve learned what works—and what doesn’t. Below is the process I use and teach in a simple, practical way.

Step One: Get Clear and Dream Big

Manifestation begins with clarity.

I start by creating a specific mental picture of what I want. This might be a new job, my dream home, a loving relationship, or financial freedom. There are no limits to what we can desire—the mind is far more powerful than we often realise.

Clarity is not about being “realistic.”
It’s about being intentional.

The clearer the vision, the easier it is for the subconscious to align with it.

Step Two: Timing Is Everything

What many people overlook is that when you visualise matters just as important as what you visualise.

There are two particularly powerful moments during the day:

  • Right after waking up

  • Just before falling asleep

During these times, we are in a liminal state—between consciousness and the subconscious. The mind is more relaxed, open, and receptive. This allows images, thoughts, and emotions to bypass old fears and limiting beliefs and settle more deeply into the subconscious.

This is where lasting change begins.

Step Three: Feel It as If It’s Already Yours

Visualisation alone is not enough. Emotion is the key that activates manifestation.

I ask myself:

  • How does it feel to wake up next to my ideal partner?

  • What sensations arise when I imagine being in my own home?

  • Who am I when money is no longer a source of stress?

I allow myself to feel the emotions fully—joy, peace, excitement, and gratitude. I stay with the feeling long enough for my body to recognise it as familiar. This emotional shift is what creates alignment between the inner and outer world.

Step Four: Repetition, Language, and Grounding

Manifestation strengthens through repetition.

I consciously choose supportive words and thoughts, regulate my nervous system daily, and return to the vision consistently. Repetition teaches the subconscious what to expect—and eventually, what to create.

A Simple 7-Day Practice

  • Write today’s date and one clear goal on a piece of paper

  • For one week, visualise and feel your desired outcome every morning and every night

  • Focus on the emotion, not perfection

  • Feel grateful about what you already have

  • Remember, consistency matters more than intensity.

Manifestation is not magic. It is alignment.

When thoughts, emotions, body, and identity move in the same direction, reality responds. I don’t chase. I don’t force. I allow, I feel, and I trust.

And that is when change becomes inevitable.
